I'm going to escape. I'm driving them crazy. I told them while sitting at their desks to make a circle with their right foot in a clockwise direction. Then, at the same time to draw a "6" in the air with their right hand. If they could do it without changing direction, they could keep me there. Hah, I'm gonna be out!!!!

Wow!!! I'm exhausted tonight and am actually going to go to sleep around midnight for the first time in as long as I can remember. I'm in Gettysburg right now chasing ghosts (and no I'm not being philosophical), I really mean that we are hanging out in a haunted area(as opposed to when I'm not at home). Guess that's why it doesn't matter to me that the lights fade every so often.
Anyway, I'll get into this more tomorrow. I just want to say that the Ruffians are on fire. Kate is on fire. Sean is on fire. We're raking in the dates, we're getting the offers. I'm not going to spoil too many suprises, but we have a lot booked for the summer already (and they're going to be really cool). Start saving your pennies now to go on some trips with us.
(oww.... on a side note, we got an 1893 penny at a gas station over the border. That's got to be a good omen!! It was in great condition too, I'm really psyched).
But yesterday was great. I finished a huge treatment that's off to CBS, met up with Sean and Kate and had a great time. Met more of her awsome family... (the one in charge, and Sticky nonetheless!!). Sean and I drank for a lot of the rest of the night (drank more....?), I bumped into Jamie to do some business there, and just had a really great time. Thanks Sean!!
But for now I didn't sleep much last night because I had to stay up and finish stuff before I split, so I'm gonna crash early (if I can get an okay on the synopsis I mailed off). by the way, next time you're down here, you have to sample some great food. The Game pie was awsome (if you're not a vegetarian). For everyone, the spoon breads were great with the apple jellies, the pumpkin fritters rocked, sweet potato pudding was great, and the whiskey/champagne mix (called a 3rd Infantry) was neat too. Good times.
But I'll talk more about here tomorrow. For now, just know that I am fed, that it's snowing, that the place is haunted, and that I'm actually going to sleep early. silly people warning us about happenings. come out of the shower at home and find your clothes out in the hallway folded. This is nothing!! Nothing a little Jameson won't fix!

Hmmm...for some reason my blog about creating the Ruffians army didn't come on. Wonder if that was sensored or if God was trying to prevent me from causing some real stir. You started this Ryan!!
Anyway, hope all is well and all are enjoying the snow. Come on, how many of you went out and made a snow angel. I had been drinking all day and have to say that my snow angel looks great. (Of course my snow angel has yellow wings and a yellow hallo). [note: I was even able to sign my name to it!!!].
Back to reality...ow ooooooww....back to re...ality....
We've got a lot of great gigs coming up. I may have to look for property (to pitch the tent on) in good ol Baltimore soon. We're really starting to dig it there (I of course love it there) and will be having a lot of dates coming up there soon. Watch the calender closely, it's been switching by the day.... but that's good because it means that the gigs keeping calling and changing us around to bigger and better things. It's like a chinese lottery here in good ol Ruffian land.

Anyway, the People's Fleadh is coming up soon. I've heard some stuff from Far From Finished and the Rusted Crowns. Playing in Danbury soon, so check that out too.
Romer is transversing other parts of the globe, so Sean, Kevin and I have been drinking away his Merchandising money....just wanted to say thanks Romer, come back soon, you need to make us more.
Big Kudos (yo??) to Sean Sheridan for the excellent work he's been doing. And a what's up to Joe Mulvanerty, whose number came up on my caller ID the other day but then it hung up. What... were you going to ask me go drinking with ya but thought better about it later on. That's okay, I got almost 1/3rd of the bottle left of my New Year's Jameson (at least I did before breakfast today).
Hey, where's Mel....haven't heard from you. I want to send my love out to Katie (sis) out in the very very cold cold weather. I hope you're warm out there. If you can get me a baby polar bear, that would be cool. Also love to Monica, I hope you arrived safely in Brasil. Who else wants some loving....? Haven't been getting a lot of mail lately, I'm feeling lonely over here with my bottle all by myself. Even my keeper's off on business, and my production partner's just getting back from vacation. I think I need some loving...and like $10 to go visit Sean!!
I guess that's it for tonight. Stupid tree's taking up so much space in the living room that I have no place to put my bottle. Oh, sorry.
If ya see Santa around, tell him Chrissy Claus says.....nah, don't tell him that... I'm sure he hears it enough when she comes back.
Hey, who's taking the Punxsutawney Bus with me this year for Ground Hog's Day??? I think a big group of us should go visit my friend and liquor up the little bastard. Did you know that I may enter the inner circle this year!! Wouldn't that be cool? I'd get to wear a big long black jacket and top hat. Chicks dig ground hogs!!! I'm telling you boys, don't miss you're chance to be one of the in crowd. It's a fun-filled night of all-night driving, standing out in the freezing cold all night with about 20,000 other people, to see the great rodent raised in the air, followed by pictures and heavy heavy drinking before making the 6 hour ride back. All are welcome!!!
But enough of little rodents, let's figure out how we're all going on the People's Fleadh together. Are you feeling the Ruffians army? Are you feeling the chance to make this all happen? I will unveil the underground doctrine soon, and then we shall all rule the world together. And if I become part of the Ground Hog's Day inner circle, I will help to govern and control one of our greatest and most over-looked holidays!! Shortly after that, I will join the American Legion and lay my claims to the 4th of July. And then, with my relations that I am building with Chrissy Claus, it will only be a short time before I pull a Rasputin and take over the North Pole. I will rule this world one holiday at a time. You're next rabbit!!! And St. Patrick's Day, well the Ruffians are getting close to ruling that anyway. Anyone see where I'm going? It's going to happen. By 2006, I will rule the calendar. And I will create Danday, the extra day of the weekend....one less day of work for all, and one more day of Ruffians gigs!! I can see it now!!! I will be master!!!!!

Well, here I am in good old Catskills with Dave and his family, celebrating a little late New Year's Eve. I've met a great new friend named Vinny, who probably already knows the words on Naked and Famous better than I do. We're just sitting here on our 5th Kentucky Whiskey and 2nd Irish Coffee so far and he just wants to say hi to all his buddies back home. I thought this would be a good time to wish my gang a Happy New Year, as well as Jamie in Fl, all the gang in Long Island, Baltimore and the South Gate, and all our new friends in Virginia, Boston, Ireland and Ohio. Hope you're all having as good a time as me and Vinny here are.

Well welcome to a great 2004!!! I think it's going to be a wonderful year. Try not to stress out about everything this year, and just enjoy what you have. Look at things from other's perspectives and realize that it's not always about you. That's all I have...
Now onto the debauchery!!! I've been gone a bit lately so I know that I'm behind. Just wanted to give a quick yell out to everyone from the Rocky Sullivan'sChristmas show. That was great. It was fun to play some of the Christmas songs again. I have a feeling those are going to really be pushed next year. We still need more models to volunteer for the insert with Santa that will accompany that CD at some point. Be forewarned!!
Thank you to all of our friends who came to that show and made it a really festive occasion. Thanks to Alice, Liz, Katie, Kate, Joe, Jamie, Bruce, Sharon, Susie, Karie, Sara, Donny, Dave, Alli, and all the South Gate gang (sorry that I didn't get to that party. I'll make it up there to see you guys really soon. Promise. You may just have to put me up for the night!!), Tom, Sara, Tommy, the Marist crew, Jay and Dan, Greg (who popped his NYC cherry), Courtney and her group, Paul and Quinn (that was a great surprise), Ian, Teresa, and Heidi. Thanks to all those I forgot to mention too. It was a great night and I try to mention everyone that I can before the mind goes foggy. Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and happy Chewbacca!
The Holidays were great. I can't believe Santa actually came this year. Guess it was the little note that I left out for him. "Dear Santa, I know that you always come to my parents house because Sean, Maggie, and Mary are so good. Well tell ya what... I poisoned the cookies and if you want the antidote, I expect to see some gifts next to the little piles of coal. Love Dan." And it worked. One more year of gifts!!! Sorry that I missed KT and J... I'm thinking about you guys. Sorry too that I missed Joe J, Greg, Alex, Angel and Wench this year. Perhaps next.
Congrats to my Uncle Mike and Aunt Beth on the twins, and to cousin Kathy on Christmas day none the less. I think that should mean that I have an in with Heaven. If not to get in, at least to get them to listen to some of my suggestions!

That was a good time too. Thank you to everyone's friends and family that came to support us. We'll be back there again. That was a rocking time. Glad everyone really enjoyed it. We got a lot of nice feedback after. (Oh, and sorry to the girl that I almost hit while driving on the sidewalk. Watch out next time).
But we have a LOT of great things in store for everyone in 2004 and I can't wait. I don't know if this should be the year I become a millionaire, I'm still deciding on that one.... But we have some fabulous shows, another CD (our LP), new shirts, more stickers, perhaps the Maddog leash will be out, the Romer eye patch, Sean's selling some old socks, (sorry, that would be me selling a pair of Sean's socks on ebay that I borrowed that time), it's going to be a great year.
I'll have to tell you all the great things that I have up my sleeve too this year. Write to me and let's talk. I have to go back to watching some of the movies I got. I've been watching Snatch, Boondock Saints, Clockwork Orange, and am going into my 4th day of straight Fight Club. I think I want to take over the world soon!
