So there you have it folks, the People's Fleadh has begun. The Gaelic Park show/benefit for tonight has been cancelled...but don't worry; the show will go on at Rocky Sullivan's. Hope to see you there, but don't expect me to remember anything from the night if you do...and the same goes for you, it's Friday night.

wow- I've finally figured out how to mindlink with the computer, but fear not boys and girls, I will soon be taking this a step further and actually putting my thoughts into this square little box of cables and problems.

Sorry about the web-site being down. The money that we were supposed to spend on web-support went to beer. But not to worry, we turned in all our cans this morning and generated enough cash to fix the problem.
Isn't that a great concept?! After eight and a half cases, you get the tenth case free (or maybe even web support)!

Someday I will learn how to play the whistle...
This is a shot of me and my piping instructor, Conor, the all-iceland whistle/pipe champion. It can be so hard to find good traditional teachers these days, but luckily I stumbled across this guy. Man, he can teach but don't piss him off after he's been hittin' the bottle.

Jersey is Jersey, there's no doubt about it. You either love it or hate it...but really, who could hate such a great place! I put my trust in a non-native last night and she was an excellent guide for our pub, err... bar crawl. Let's just say that the new People's Fleadh stickers are out.
